YEAR 3
Our Junior Champions course is specifically designed to cover the basics in maths and English, as well as providing that gentle push beyond the national curriculum. Regular homework is set and discipline is instilled.
YEAR 4
Our Year 4 course is designed to help children ease into the 11+ process. The majority of the year is spent teaching core concepts in both mathematics and English. Their knowledge is regularly tested with worksheets and small tests.
Easier style 11+ papers will also be given.
YEAR 5
Year 5 is the critical year for 11+ preparation. The Year 5 course at Champions Tuition is thorough and rigorous.

YEAR 6
Our specialised course for Year 6 students is specific to those taking the entrance exams for private schools, such as Trinity, Whitgift and Old Palace. These take place after the general 11+ is over.
If your child has unfortunately not passed the 11+ exams, there is still time to apply for a scholarship at one of the top private schools. Once the private school exams are over, the remaining half of the year is dedicated to teaching topics in the Year 7 curriculum and developing their skills required for secondary school.

At Champions Tuition we believe that there is no one-size-fits-all approach towards learning. Even though these are group sessions, each child will receive our attention to make sure they are motivated and encouraged. If your child is struggling, we will reduce the volume of homework and provide extra support towards target areas. If your child is thriving, they will be given harder worksheets and challenged further.
