YEAR 2
Our Junior Champions course is specifically designed to cover the basics in maths and English, as well as providing that gentle push beyond the national curriculum. Regular homework is set and discipline is instilled. Children will be prepared for the national SAT exams, and the focus will be on achieving the highest grades possible.

At Champions Tuition we believe that there is no one-size-fits-all approach towards learning. Even though these are group sessions, each child will receive our attention to make sure they are motivated and encouraged. If your child is struggling, we will reduce the volume of homework and provide extra support towards target areas. If your child is thriving, they will be given harder worksheets and challenged further.

At Year 2, we can provide a gentle push towards teaching content above the national curriculum. Year 2 is a great time to slowly start thinking about the 10+ or the 11+ exams if you are thinking about applying. There's no need to apply pressure at this stage, but grasping core concepts is important to keep an eye on. If your desired school is not listed above, do not worry. The curriculum of the listed schools overlaps with other schools across London so we will be able to produce a tailored lesson plan for your child.
